Yuto Horigome wins street title at X Games

Tokyo- Japan's very own Yuto Horigome won the skate board street contest at the X Games in Mineapolis just in time for the sport's debut at the 2020 Tokyo Oplympics.

"I'm really happy and pumped to skate at the world's top tournament with skaters that I look up to," Horigome said.

Horigome's first win took place at the Street League Skateboarding World Tour in Los Angeles back in late July, this was his first qualifying victory for the 2020 games.

Not only did he qualify for the 2020 games he is also on his way to becoming on of the top three skaters in the world.

As of now he is training and competing for his chance to play at the upcoming Tokyo Olympics.
